For the fourth time in a row 3P wins DPI Award
3P Value Satin FR was named Product of the Year 2008
3P InkJet Textiles Corp received the DPI Product of
the Year Partner Awards at SGIA (Specialty Graphics
Imaging Association) trade show in Atlanta/Georgia,
USA the fourth time running in 2008. The jury team of
digital imaging professionals awarded the print with
Gandinnovations' Jeti 3324 AquaJet RTR at Value Satin
FR (IQ-IJ 677) in the textile product category. It's
the second time a product of the Value line won this
coveted international prize.
The test image, designed by SGIA, is intended to find
strengths and weaknesses in printing practice. Different
motifs and color gradients indicate clearly whether
skin tones appear natural, colors brilliant, and details
clear. In the contest, Value Satin FR prevailed over
competition, in 2008 with Gandinnovations and in 2007
with TexPress.

The 100 % recyclable Value Satin FR is free of harmful
substances and results from a clean production process.
The entire production process has been certified according
to the environmental management system EN ISO 14001
and the quality management standard EN ISO 9001. Moreover
the production is validated in regard to the EU-wide
regulation about ecological audits.
The flame retardant polyester with slight shimmer is
qualified for any display system, best used with either
direct or transfer sublimation inks, but can also be
printed with UV-curable inks. The polyester fabric has
a premium touch and will highlight the presentation
of products and services. Stunning image quality and
durability fulfill high standards of customers' needs.
The tightly woven display fabric is flame retardant
in compliance with the US fire protection requirements
NFPA 701.
The low-prized Value line offers supreme performance,
perfect image quality, safety and environmental protection.

Output magazine twice in succession.
3P InkJet Textiles Corp is delighted to announce that
Value and TruColor line products won this award. This
is the second year in a row that 3P-products have been

The selection based on responses from Digital Output

The entire range has been developed especially for direct
sublimation printing and can also be used with transfer
sublimation or UV-curable ink. The latest new member
of 3P's Value line, Premium Flag FR, shows perfect image
sharpness and vivid colors on both sides when printed
with dye sublimation direct or transfer inks. The ink
penetrates the polyester at 100%. Consequently there
is no difference visible between front and back side.
The 110 g/m2 tear resistant polyester with a matte finish
passes flame retardant tests in Europe and USA. Gandinnovations
tested the new flag material with outstanding results
and recommends 3P Value Premium Flag FR for the Jeti
3324 AquaJet RTR.

2007 marks the third time in succession that 3P InkJet
Textiles Corp won the DPI Product of the Year partner
award. At the SGIA trade show (Specialty Graphics Imaging
Association) in Orlando/Florida 3P scored with the print
at Value Display FR (IQ-IJ 675) in the Textiles Product
category.
Value Display FR, printed with the sublimation printer

the team of digital imaging professionals of Digital
Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) awarded 3P
InkJet Textiles Corp in combination with TexPress, Inc.
the coveted prize.
DPI designed a common test file to find strengths and
weaknesses in practice. Different images and color gradients

TexPress DSS 1800II combines three components in one.

2006 |
3P received their second DPI Product of the Year award
in succession with their canvas products. Universal
Glossy Canvas (IQ-IJ109) was awarded with the DPI (Digital
Printing and Imaging Association) Product of the Year
2006 in the Fabric category. 3P InkJet Textiles Corp.
introduced this brand new media at the recent SGIA Show
held in Las Vegas and Photokina at Cologne.
Ergosoft Corp. printed the winning print with their
RIP software TexPrint Version 12 on Canon's 60"
Image PROGRAF iPF9000 with the new 12- color pigment
system on 3P's Universal Glossy Canvas.
Universal Glossy Canvas (IQ-IJ109) fulfils professional
demands in fine art and digital photographic printing.
The bright-white fabric offers accurate color reproduction
and maximum image quality with vivid colors. Highest
resolution prints with finest tonal variations in color
and grayscale are possible. 3P's micro-porous coating
offers wide color gamut and unique UV-resistance. The
raw canvas as well as the coating is free of optical
brightener additives to maximize longevity of fine art
prints and avoid yellowing. The Cotton/Polyester blend
is particularly suitable for precise stretching over
frames without any cracking, because ink and coating
build a flexible and hard-wearing unit. 3P also recommends

Studio Canvas wins DPI Product of the Year Award Stephanskirchen,
Germany – 3P InkJet Textiles AG won the DPI Product-of-the-Year
Competition 2005 in the Textile Products Category with
Studio Canvas (IQ-IJ111). “We are absolutely honored
to win this DPI award. It confirms 3Ps comprehensive
competence and shows that 3P meets its own demand in
high quality. Years of research and fine tuning affect
these quality standards,” said Thomas Pötz,
director of sales and marketing. “We also would
like to highlight Ergosoft they did a great job with
their Poster Print RIP and the Mimaki’s JV22 with
pigmented inks. Because the quality level of prints
is regulated by the perfect interplay of coating, printer
and software.” The 3P Canvas line including our
awarded product, Studio Canvas, are a “step above
the rest” in color reproduction, detail accuracy
and performance. Studio Canvas combines photo-realistic
image quality with the traditional texture of art canvas.
The 20,8 mil Studio Canvas produces stunningly vivid
images with any printer using dye or pigmented aqueous
ink such as Epson, Hewlett Packard, Mimaki, Kodak, Canon,
etc. Best used with pigmented inks to avoid fading and
conserve image clarity over a long period. The special
acid-free 3P-coating offers genuine reproduction and
unique UVresistance, because the micro-porous coating
is free of optical whitener (fluorescent whitening agents).
Therefore the prints are very durable and lightfast.
In addition high flexibility and crackresistance characterize
Studio Canvas. The 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton blend
makes precise stretching possible without becoming slacken
over time. 3P InkJet Textiles AG recommends it for fine
art reproduction, digital photography and high-quality
indoor banners. Canvas is available in widths 17 to
72 inches. The roll length is 40 and 82,5 feet. Additional
protection by varnishing enhances color intensity, contrast
and durability. 3P InkJet Textiles AG recommends a system
of two special varnishes for Portrait Canvas: Transparent
Polymer Varnish Matt or Gloss with UV Protector. The
level of shine can be changed by mixing the fixatives.
These protective coats enhance the special charisma
of exclusive images, maximize color vividness and protects
them for generations against damage caused by dirt,

3P InkJet Textiles Corp. won this years DIMA Digital
Printer Shoot-Out in the Creative Application Textile
category with TruColor light banner. “We are proud
to win this year’s DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out
– one of the most prestigious awards in the industry”,
said Thomas Poetz the chairman of 3P InkJet Textiles
Corp. “Our TruColor fabrics offer best quality
for brilliant and detailed images with solvent inks
as well as UV curable inks. This award is a huge testimonial
to our high quality standards.” The opaque TruColor
light banner, the ideal cloth for printing outdoordurable
banners was printed with a MacDermid ColorSpan DisplayMaker
72s using ColorSpan’s SolaChrome-HR solvent based
inks. A range of further TruColor products for different
applications is available: Especially for outdoor use
3P offers a similar opaque banner textiles: TC Banner
heavy and furthermore TC Flag, a knitted polyester fabric
with a matt surface. For Fine Art Printing, art reproduction
and portrait photography 3P recommends Historic Canvas.
The translucent, light TC Voile B1 and the matt-ribbed,
opaque TC Cotton B1 are perfect for indoor use. TC Banner
Gloss, a polyester fabric with a glossy surface passed
the flammability test in Germany and got the certification
B1 (flame retardant) according to DIN standard 4102.
The flame retardant test in America and California is
in preparation now. TC Flag CS is also certified for
use in public buildings like fairs, trade-shows and
exhibitions. These fabrics are available in width 42”,
54”, 64”, 72” and 122 inches. The
9th annual Digital Printer Shoot-Out uses a “target
file” created by some of the best color experts
in the industry to evaluate different digital imaging
systems. A jury of digital imaging professionals selected
the winning entries based on the overall quality and
the accuracy of color as compared to the target print. |
